Supporting and Contributing To The NGC Mission

National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC) aligns with sponsors and partners who enhance our MISSION -- which is to provide education, resources, and national networking opportunities for our members to promote the love of gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility.

Our sponsors and partners help us successfully implement projects in our 5,000 United States garden clubs, where some 165,000 members participate in a broad base of projects in areas of interest, covering many issues in today’s world. Our sponsors provide cash, in-kind donations, pro bono support, and incentives for our programs.

The 2019-2021 administration, under the leadership of Gay Austin, NGC national president, will devote special emphasis and education towards conservation and preservation of natural habitats. “Through various opportunities, we also intend to target youth groups, increasing involvement in our programs” -- Gay Austin, May 2, 2019.

National Garden Clubs, Inc. is grateful to our existing partners for their continued participation with programs supported by our organization.

  • National Forest Service collaborates with NGC annually with the Youth Smokey Bear Poster Contest.
  • Seed Your Future is dedicated to educating and supporting youth in horticulture careers.
  • National Wildlife Federation works with NGC to support our broad commitment to wildlife gardening.

National Garden Clubs, Inc. relies on donations and in-kind contributions to fund programs and projects for our local garden club members. We continue to PLANT AMERICA and support our legacy benefactors:

  • Espoma – a premier provider for organic plant products, continues to provide grants to local garden clubs nation-wide.
  • Ames – offers a tool grant program for our member clubs.
